To create DDD files a licensed version of the 3D-Tool CAD-Viewer is required. A free trial key can be request in the viewer after installation:

The trial key activates all functions and file formats, including CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, I-Deas, Creo, Inventor, Solid Edge, NavisWorks, Rhino, JT, X_T, STEP, IGES, VDA, and SAT.
The trial key activates conversion of these CAD files to STEP, IGES, JT, SAT and X_T.
The trial key activates publishing to 3D-Tool DDD and EXE files, 3D-PDF and HTML.
The trial key activates saving to many 3D visualization file formats such as 3DS, 3MF, OBJ, PLY, FBX and glTF
