Companies receive a wide variety of 3D CAD formats from customers and suppliers, but need certain formats for their own CAD and other 3D software.

The 3D-NativeCAD Converter converts 3D models of the most important CAD systems into the 3D exchange formats STEP, IGES, VDA, SAT and X_T.
The 3D Tool Viewer saves 3D models in 3D visualization formats such as STL, OBJ, PLY, 3DS and WRL.

The interfaces in the converter and viewer are continuously updated and make 3D-Tool users independent of the expensive CAD interfaces in development and construction.

Convert 3D CAD Files

The 3D NativeCAD Converter creates exact 3D models from many common 3D CAD formats in the formats STP, IGS, VDA, SAT, SAB, X_T and as CATIA V5 CATProduct and CATPart. This makes it a flexible and affordable interface for most CAD applications.

Automatic HEALING guarantees a very high quality of the data output. Poor quality data can even be improved.
If the model contains assembly information, assemblies and parts can be specifically selected during conversion.
When outputting SAT, X_T and CATIA V5, the output version can be set.
MESH objects and MESH formats cannot be converted with the 3D NativeCAD converter.

Saving 3D-Visualizations

The 3D Tool Viewer creates high-resolution 3D models in the visualization formats STL, OBJ, PLY, 3DS, WRL, U3D and PDF. It serves as a flexible CAD interface for 3D printing software and 3D rendering software.

When importing 3D CAD formats, the resolution of the visualization and thus the quality of the 3D image and the amount of data can be set.
In the viewer, several files can be merged into one model and a model can be split into several files.
The publication as a 3D PDF file for Adobe Reader enables the distribution and archiving of 3D models in the universal PDF format.
